DIVERGENCE
A site-specific artwork commissioned by the Aberdeen Art Gallery. The sculpture in metal and glass was made in collaboration with John Creed, Glasgow. The work links two distinct galleries drawing the visitor physically through the columns and directing their vision upwards. The arch above, suggestive of man's view of the universe, frames shafts of light, reflected on the polished stainless steel and glass, which penetrate the space as they diverge into many directions.
